What is a SUPPLY CHAIN?

It is the set of activities that contribute to the production, collection, distribution, marketing and supply of an agri-food product, starting from basic agricultural production up to sale to the final consumer.

What is a SHORT SUPPLY CHAIN?

In the short supply chain, only one intermediary is allowed, and it is the person who buys the product directly from the producer to send it in turn directly to the sale, namely to the consumer.
